I love you even though…

Just a little poem for my husband on his birthday because it is possible to still love someone even when they drive you mad at times!

The photo above was taken on Greg’s 18th birthday. A lot of time has passed since then, we’ve aged considerably, been through some amazing times and experienced some tough moments. But throughout those years one thing has remained constant… my love for him. I know pass me the sick bucket, right?

It’s no secret that he drives me insane but I love him anyway. As I hope this poem shows. Happy birthday Greg. I love you. x

I love you even though

I love you even though you’re more stubborn than me,
And I love you even though you say I have shit taste in tv.

I love you even though you’re immune to the late night wake up calls,
And I love you even though the sound of your snoring makes me want to punch you in the balls.

I love you even though your dirty washing never quite makes it to the basket,
And I love you even though you refuse to keep your hair how I like it.

I love you even though you’re really rubbish with money,
And I love you even though you spend it all on the Big Tasty.

I love you even though you ditch me every week to play football with your friends,
And I love you even though you drive me round the bend.

I love you even though you aren’t always here when I want you to be,
And most of all I love you even though Roo loves you more than me.

Neither of us are perfect and that’s ok with me,
Because I love everything about our perfectly imperfect family.

Does your partner regularly do something that really annoys you but you still love them anyway? Let me know in the comments below.
